My Story

Emmanuel’s humanitarian spirit and love for people started at a very young age. His personal story of growing up in an impoverished village in Africa, provide him connectedness with the communities he serves today. His experiences of life’s hardships gave him insight as to how he could help others stabilize their lives to give them hope for a better future. He volunteered at his local community center, teaching youth basketball fundamentals, mentoring young inner-city girls and boys, and tutoring children with disabilities. Emmanuel believes that no human being should have to live in the streets and struggle to meet basic needs, such as housing, employment and healthcare.

Emmanuel’s drive to establish mission-focused partnerships will expand BE Foundation’s reach into vulnerable communities and populations, augment the organization’s core competencies and bring new expertise and innovative solutions to our relief work.
